Job Description What is the opportunity? RBC’s Customer Data Management team is seeking a highly motivated and talented Manager with an owner operator mindset. The team consists of skilled data strategists who: Liberate data and introduce new capabilities to unlock new value pools for the business Drive faster decision-making by enabling proactive delivery of insights about our clients Scale our data-driven culture, founded in safety, curiosity, and bias for action The Manager, Data Enablement will have the opportunity to function at the intersection of strategic planning and delivery enablement. Successful candidate will be able to apply core consulting skills to business situations and become a trusted advisor for business partners. This role requires a 4-day in-office presence per week to foster collaboration and teamwork. What will you do? Conduct research and analysis to identify and understand emerging trends and best practices in data enablement and analytics Drive structured problem-solving, collaborating with subject matter experts to gather relevant data & facts Plan and facilitate workshops, working sessions and stakeholder alignment meetings with internal and external stakeholders Prepare senior management materials by gathering inputs from business leaders, synthesizing key messages and reviewing for accuracy Drive structured operational routines such as planning cycles, meeting cadences, and cross functional coordination What do you need to succeed? Must-have: Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or technology Experience: 2+ years of experience in a financial institution or management consulting firm, with proven experience working in strategic projects; Background in Technology / Data is a plus Critical Thinking Skills: Ability to analyze ambiguous situations, apply problem-solving skills to support informed decisions Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex messages in a concise and clear way. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to navigate the organization and develop strong relationships at every level Microsoft Office Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Office365 Nice to have: Working knowledge of various Data Analytics Tools and Platforms; Hands-on analytics experience is a plus Experience with Project Management and Issue Management tools like Planview, ServiceNow, and JIRA What’s in it for you?
