Maintenance Technician

Hog Island Oyster Co is one of the few, true blue, farm to table shellfish businesses operating in the United States and we’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Tech to join our team. This is a unique opportunity - you will have the chance to work on boats, trucks, trailers, cranes, pumps, refrigeration equipment, and in our restaurants... every day is different! We're looking for a true Jack of all trades - experience with carpentry, landscaping, plumbing and auto/boat mechanic trades is ideal. This position is full time, with 4 day 10 hour day work week.

What we require:

• Teamwork
• High School degree or equivalent
• Valid California Drivers License, Clean DMV
• Basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience
• Aptitude for mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge and understanding of hydraulics
• Preferably you have experience in the marine trades. Maybe you have worked on a commercial fishing boat
• Welding and professional mechanical experience a plus
