I. Purpose of the Job • Responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of routine maintenance work• Ensures that all maintenance work is executed efficiently and on-time through supporting technicians by running performance dialogues, being at least 40-60% of time on shop floor, where needed back-up, define training needs, etc.II. Roles and Responsibilities Accountabilities and activities1 Responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of routine maintenance work2 Providing daily coaching and supervision for the maintenance technicians3 Acts as the primary liaison between Production and Maintenance, with ownership of the qualification, prioritization, scheduling, coordination of maintenance activities and quality of executed jobs4 Ensure that all jobs are properly and on time completed 5 Cooperate with maintenance planners and production on scheduling, priority planning6 Ensure that work permits are available and safety procedures are followed7 Ensures work requests for maintenance are properly reviewed, justified, prioritized, and approved8 Participating in the development of quality job plans by working with planners • Participating in development of weekly and daily work schedules• Communicating and making necessary adjustments to complete or reschedule jobs that go beyond original scope of work and/or time estimates• Interacting with work permitting process as needed and insuring that all applicable safety procedures are followedIII. Skills & Competencies • Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role• Strong technical equipment maintenance knowledge• Strong leadership skills and be organized.• Has excellent interpersonal skills , persuasive, sets high expectation, motivates people, delegates & follows up• Excellent communication skills• Supportive mindset• High school diploma or equivalent• Good organizational skills• Good problem solving skills• Strong team player Be bold and take the leap!
