Job Details Job Location: Administration - Madison, WI 53716 Salary Range: $24.00 Hourly Job description: Maintenance Specialist Department: All Programs Job Status: Full-Time Shift/Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm Pay: $24/Hourly Position Summary As the Maintenance Technician you will spend your time performing minor fixes, grounds clean up and conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. This role will work closely with our Maintenance Manager to help identify priorities and receive work orders. Essential Functions Perform routine maintenance around the building. Applying preventative measures to the building, inside and out. Identifying and fixing potential safety hazards. Painting Snow Removal/De-Icing walkways. Grounds Maintenance; tree trimming, hedge pruning, weeding etc. Other duties as assigned. Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC/ mechanical systems Proper power tool operation and familiarity with small engine/equipment operation Ability to follow detailed instruction and work independently Availability to be on call as needed Problem-solve and follow through with ongoing tasks and projects Capacity to interact with clients / staff in a respectful manner, cognizant of programs in session Qualifications Qualifications Must have a valid driver’s license 3 years previous experience Ability to prioritize Time management skills Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders Physical Requirements Lifting up to 45lbs Squatting Standing Sitting Bending Twisting
