Night Shift Maintenance Engineer – Chemical Production Plant Hours: Monday to Friday – 10:00pm to 6:00am (Mon–Thurs) and 6:00pm to Midnight (Friday) About us At Diversey - A Solenis Company, we are the pioneer, the facilitator of our clients in a wide range of industries around the globe. About the Role We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineering to join our dedicated Engineering Team. Working permanent nights, you’ll take responsibility for maintaining and troubleshooting a range of process equipment across powder, fluids, and filling lines. You’ll work hands-on with conveyors, rollers, pumps, motors, inkjet printers, and labelling machines, ensuring continuous, efficient operation. Key Responsibilities Respond to and resolve breakdowns quickly and effectively. Perform preventative maintenance and condition monitoring to minimise downtime. Support production teams to achieve key performance targets including OEE, waste, and yield. Ensure equipment fills, caps, labels, and packages to specification. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and new equipment introductions. Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards in a fast-paced chemical environment. About You Qualified in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering (C&G, NVQ 3, or Degree) or equivalent experience. Proven background in manufacturing maintenance (chemical, food, or FMCG preferred). Skilled in fault finding, root cause analysis, and safe repair practices. Proactive, hands-on, and team-oriented, with strong communication skills. Aware of workplace and chemical safety protocols.
