The Loan Coordinator Specialist provides essential support to Loan Officers in the daily operations of the lending department. This role is responsible for compiling loan applications to ensure completeness, preparing documentation, and maintaining accurate records. The position requires extensive customer interaction both in person and via telephone, delivering exceptional service while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Essential Responsibilities include: Assist customers with loan inquiries/needs and direct them to the appropriate individuals. Compile loan application and financial information to complete loan file. Prepare Credit Memo for Loan Officer approval as necessary. Monitor renewal maturity reports and update customer information. Compose letters, emails, and memos, as needed. Respond promptly to inquiries in person, by phone, or via email. Manage Loan Officer’s calendar, including scheduling appointments and tracking report due dates. Utilize bank applications and software, including word processing and spreadsheets. Prepare reports as requested. Prepare necessary documentation for weekly loan committee meetings. Prepare necessary documentation for quarterly loan meetings. Assist with loan closings as requested by Loan Officer. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory rules and regulations through established procedures.
