Company Description Live-In Care Assistant – Make Every Day Count Location: Newport, Monmouth & Surrounding Areas Hours: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off Pay: £910 per week + £40 weekly food allowance We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a trusted provider of high-quality home care across Newport and Monmouthshire. What You’ll Do As a Live-In Care Assistant, you’ll live in your client’s home during your working weeks, providing tailored support and companionship to help them live safely and comfortably. Your role will include: Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Supporting mobility and safe movement using walking aids or hoists Managing continence, skincare, and oral hygiene routines Preparing nutritious meals that suit your client’s preferences Keeping the home clean, tidy, and safe Supporting medication routines and keeping accurate records Providing emotional reassurance and companionship Helping with shopping, errands, or light household tasks Promoting independence and wellbeing every day No two placements are the same — you’ll form genuine, meaningful relationships while making life better for someone who needs your support.
