In France, Kraft Heinz employs over 200 people across two sites: Paris (La Défense – Head Office) Seclin (Production Site) We are now looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Paris office. The Role As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support primarily in France, with additional exposure to EU commercial matters (buying groups) and the Iberia Business Unit. You will also collaborate on European projects led by the EPDM legal team. Your role will combine hands-on day-to-day support with opportunities to contribute to strategic legal matters across commercial, corporate, and compliance topics. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day legal advice to operational teams on a wide range of business issues. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (T&Cs, distribution, logistics services, NDAs, R&D, marketing, etc.). Support the negotiation and monitoring of framework agreements with EU Buying Groups. Ensure compliance with regulations related to promotions, pricing, consumer protection, data privacy, competition law, and general sales conditions. Review marketing and communication materials, including packaging, advertising, digital content, and promotional campaigns. Conduct legal research and draft memos, legal opinions, and internal guidelines. Design and deliver internal trainings on key legal topics for business teams. Monitor and report on relevant legislative and regulatory changes. Assist in managing disputes and litigation alongside the Legal Manager. Provide support on corporate and governance matters. Your Profile Master’s degree (Master 2 or Magistère) in Business, Economic, or Commercial Law. 3-5 years’ experience as a Legal Counsel or Lawyer in business law, ideally in FMCG or an international environment. Solid knowledge of contract law, distribution law, consumer law, and competition law; familiarity with labor law is a plus. Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written); Spanish is an asset. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
