Legal Counsel – Netherlands (Rotterdam) A rare opportunity to combine legal practice with strategic investment and lasting impact At Deminor you do more than handle files. You help shape strategy, decide on investment and drive litigation that can restore justice and deliver real outcomes. As we continue to grow our presence in the Netherlands, we are seeking a Dutch-qualified lawyer with minimum 5/ 6 years’ litigation or dispute resolution experience, eager to take ownership, drive cases and make an impact both locally and internationally. You will be based in Rotterdam with flexible hybrid work. Occasional travel to our headquarters in Brussels will be part of the role. What you will do Identify and assess litigation funding opportunities, including in-depth legal and financial due diligence of commercial cases. Lead and coordinate funded Dutch B2B commercial disputes, managing case progress and working closely with external counsel, experts and Deminor’s internal team. Contribute to Deminor’s global collective securities litigation practice, involved in the selection, management and strategy of complex cross border investor cases. Help expand Deminor’s footprint in the Dutch market. Who you are A Dutch-qualified lawyer with minimum 5/6 years of experience in litigation, commercial law or dispute resolution. You bring many of the following attributes: At least 5/6 years of experience in the litigation practice of a Dutch law firm or in a corporate setting with litigation exposure. Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Interested in cross border collective securities litigation and Dutch commercial litigation. Practical, analytical and commercially minded. Able to think strategically beyond pure legal analysis. Motivated to grow in a role where legal insight directly informs investment decisions and business outcomes. Curious, proactive and willing to go the extra mile.
