Within the role you will ensure Arabelle Solutions service process improvement while leveraging LEAN methodology and innovation to better serve worldwide nuclear operators, you will develop and implement a lean strategy that aligns with the needs of the Arabelle Solutions Services. With the end goal that our service centres can support regions to execute outages and upgrade projects and use LEAN to improve Services processes and tools in Manufacturing area, you will be responsible for the direction (Lean Roadmaps), execution (improvements plans), and coaching of the Service Centre on all LEAN activities and new processes. You will drive improvement in SQDC aligned with both the annual objectives as well as the Lean Objectives of reducing lead time, and problem solving, designing and implementing Daily Management System. You will play a key role to drive Arabelle Solutions service process improvement while leveraging LEAN methodology and innovation to better serve worldwide nuclear operators, she/he will develop and/or implement a lean strategy that aligns with the needs of the Arabelle Solutions Services. Main duties and responsibilities will include: Define, implement, animate comprehensive harmonized LEAN operating rhythm. This includes Getting initial status of pain points Improvement action definition Standard Work implementation where gaps are identified Daily Management System design and implementation, while defining relevant PPIs and relative escalation levels as well as KPIs in the frame of Monthly Operating rhythm Coaching local community of volunteers as part of a Lean Forum, launching problem solving and lean initiatives and developing local lean capabilities Safety : Challenge status quo, drive safety culture as well as a priority and security of employees at workplace (while leveraging 5S Lean methodology): Quality: Set quality culture for individual and business to do things right the first time Partner with Quality / Engineering to ensure proper rhythm around nonconformity treatment as well as implementation of learnings (including process updates, deployments and training to Services Organization population) Delivery ensure priorities are set as per regional ones and ensure visibility of deliveries per project (while leveraging VSM and Lead time reduction, , waste elimination lean methodologies) Costs: Implement productivity while leveraging LEAN production methodology (5S, waste elimination, loss of value identification) Due to the nature of this work this role requires the successful candidate to hold Security Check (SC) clearance. If you do not currently possess SC clearance, Arabelle Solutions will support your application. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, applicants must be UK nationals. Dual nationals from non-ITAR restricted countries may also be considered. Requirements and Experience Degree in Engineering or equivalent Demonstrable experience in lean deployment with a proven track record of SQDC improvement Experience within in a highly regulated Manufacturing setting would be highly beneficial Extensive LEAN knowledge of Standard Work, Daily Management implementation, Value Stream Map Kaizen Facilitation, Daily Management System and Value Stream Map Facilitation proven experience in multicultural and changing environment Desired Characteristics Excellent language skills in English (verbal and written) Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time both global and domestic.
