Job Description Summary: Responsibilities And Duties: 10% Train and handle all new hire orientation and provides input for staff reviews. Monitor on-the job performance of the scheduling and/or phone operator departments. Performs scheduling audits and reports findings to the Practice Administrator or Business Operations Manager practice specific c regularly. Plan and implement staff development and training activities. Cultivates, maintains and enhances intradepartmental and medical staff relations. 30% Coordinates and assists with office staff functions such as: scheduling patient appointments, physician coverage, answering phones, completing patient intakes, calling to confirm appointments and entering daily patient charges, as well as other duties as assigned. Ensures that staffing needs are appropriate in the event of employee absences. May have responsibility for maintaining a database, project s or program s on an ongoing basis. 60% Schedules appointments, referrals, answers phones, provides departmental support and travels between offices as required.
