Leading a team of Account Executives. This includes making hiring decisions, training, and motivating the team to ensure it meets all requirements. It also includes assisting with new accounts, escalating new account issues, providing support, and following up on their performance.
Continuously working to identify strengths and weaknesses in your respective team members & coach appropriately, along with giving each employee actionable steps to improve and track progress across regular 1:1s.
Responsible for providing superior sales expertise, excellent phone skills, and displaying accuracy in describing what our company can do for potential clients.
Knowledgeable of all our services and functioning with considerable independence providing equally superior assistance to potential clients and staff alike.
Enriching your community through paid volunteering time, up to 16 hours annually.
Spending 150 minutes per week learning in our online university AdaptiveU.
You’ll generally have a 40-hour weekly schedule, as it is an essential function of your role. However, extra/odd hours may be required based on business needs.
Domestic and international travel is required for this role. A minimum of one meetup per year, as well as events like trade shows, require attendance. Ability to take part in trade shows is required. In addition to presenting our business, requirements include the ability to stand for long hours at our booth and in the vendor locations, build rapport with prospects and possible partners, set up and tear down booths, and help ship materials back to the fulfillment center.
To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 2+ years of sales leadership experience (preferably in a telephony/software sales company or similar industry) and 5+ years of selling and closing experience.
You should be compassionate about people, have outstanding speaking and listening skills (including public speaking), and have exceptional customer service skills (efficiency, friendliness, and a positive attitude).
These excellent interpersonal skills should extend to having a professional demeanor in occasionally stressful and challenging situations.
You should also be able to understand, comply, and implement oral and written instructions and effectively relay those instructions to employees.
As this is a remote, computer-based position, you should be able to effectively operate a computer-based (VOIP) phone system and be proficient in Google-based products, like Google Docs, Sheets, etc.
You’ll also need to be comfortable using scheduling programs, managing calendar timelines, and entering information into appropriate computer databases.
Compiling reports and statistical information will also be a fun part of your job!
