Junior Procurement Coordinator Department: Finance Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: London Heathrow Reporting To: Procurement Manager Compensation: £30,000 - £40,000 / year Description We are seeking a proactive Junior Procurement Coordinator to play a pivotal part in supporting supplier relationships and ensuring all purchasing requirements are managed effectively. This role is key to ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and value-driven sourcing strategies that support business operations across multiple sites. WFS is looking for an organised and driven individual who will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:- Creating and managing purchase orders – responsible for preparing and sending purchase orders to suppliers. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure efficient service. Market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and analyse market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. Maintaining records – keeping accurate records purchases, pricing, and deliveries is essential for tracking procurement activities and ensuring compliance with WFS policies. Negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure compliance. To be successful in this role you will need:- Degree level qualification in a business, purchasing, supply or similar subject or studying towards CIPS qualification. Equally having a similar experience in a previous role is also desirable. Strong communication skills for building relationships with all stakeholders internally and externally. Excellent analytical skills to analyse market data and supplier performance for informed procurement decisions. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
