The Granite Club is looking for a contract Junior Events Coordinator who will be a member of the Events team and is primarily responsible for assisting with administrative functions and providing support within the Events Office. This includes, but is not limited to, booking Members for Club functions, preparing menus, place cards and floorplans (with the guidance of the Event Managers), confirming final guarantees for Events, responding to member and staff inquiries and Member/Guest check-in at events. Primary Responsibilities Assist the Events Coordinator with maintaining the filing system and ensuring the BEO binder is up to date. Help update the daily events screen with each day's listing of events Provide administrative support to Managers. Complete any special projects requested by the Events Managers. Assist with reservation confirmations leading up to Club events (e.g., confirming number of guests). Support guest check-in for Club events such as Festival of Lights, Brunch with Santa, etc. Ensure the Banquets team has all necessary event materials including printed menus, place cards, and floor plans.
