The Industrial Operations Business Division and its Quality Product Industrialization department are looking for an Internship Statistical optimization of products documentation (F/M) Localisation : Rueil-Malmaison Axens Presentation: Axens group provides a complete range of solutions for the conversion of oil and biomass to cleaner fuels, the production and purification of major petrochemical intermediates, the chemical recycling of plastics, all natural gas treatment and conversion options along with water treatment and carbon capture. Context: The Rueil Product Quality department is responsible for the quality of the products sold by the company to our clients. The mission of such a position is to provide a support to the commercial and technical functions regarding the management of the requests for sending samples to customers and the update of the documentation relative to Axens Products. As a part of Rueil Product Quality (QPR) team, the intern will be asked to work with a focus on continual improvement. For this, the intern will establish statistics on QPR missions (detailed below) and then, suggest enhancement actions. Tasks and activities: In the first part, the process in which QPR is involved before the sales of products will be described to the intern. To understand Axens’ catalysts and adsorbents use, the intern will be asked to participate in day-to-day activities of QPR: • Establishment of the technical data sheets using an internal database to create the documents (containing the chemical specifications of Axens’ products) and ensure its update and proper functioning. • Participate to the organization of the sample shipments to the clients. The second and main part of the internship is the creation of statistical analysis regarding the technical data sheets and/or sample shipments. This activity of continual improvement will allow QPR to get better Key Performance Indicators (KPI) over the activities and automated statistics which will be used during a long time. The intern will be asked to use Excel and PowerBi for this activity. We are open to new ideas/suggestions that can be made. Finally, a presentation of the activities conducted by the intern will be appreciated. Profil: Currently in your 1 st year of master’s degree or 2 nd year of engineer school specialized in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering you are looking for a three to four months internship. Associated skills: • Knowing Microsoft Office and statistical software applications. The knowledge of Power BI is appreciated (not mandatory) • Good level in English (written, spoken) • Rigor, independence, proactive, eagerness to learn • Knowing on how to work within a network and at the interface of several functions • Interest on industrial environment Skills developed during the internship: • Use of chemistry in an industrial environment • Statistical analysis • Written and oral communication Service: Industrial Operations Business Division (IOP) – Quality Product Rueil (QPR) Departmen “At Axens, we challenge stereotypes and clichés.
