We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer for our Product Engineering Team. \n What you'll do: * Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve features across Fullscript’s platform * Build and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications using Ruby and JavaScript (React), with an emphasis on reliability, testability, and maintainability * Design and develop RESTful APIs, including third-party integrations and internal services, with a focus on long-term health and clarity * Ensure API design aligns with best practices for uptime, reliability, and contract testing * Take full ownership of features, from architecture to rollout, and support them in production * Lead or contribute to the scoping and planning of technical projects, collaborating across teams to deliver solid, maintainable solutions * Review pull requests and provide mentorship and feedback that improves the quality and cohesion of the codebase * Influence high-level architecture and technical direction, driving forward larger team initiatives * Contribute to team culture through collaboration, discussion, and sharing knowledge What you bring to the table: * You are a passionate engineer who takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code and enjoys solving meaningful problems * Solid understanding of RESTful API design and lifecycle management, including reliability, automated testing, and long-term maintenance * Proficiency in Ruby (or strong experience in a similar language with the willingness to ramp up quickly in Ruby-based systems) * Experience building web applications using JavaScript and frameworks like React, Vue, or similar * You write tests and value their role in maintaining quality and confidence during iteration * You have good software engineering fundamentals and can contribute to technical design conversations * Collaborative mindset, you thrive in team settings and can communicate your ideas clearly * You actively seek feedback and enjoy growing through mentorship and new challenges Bonus: * Experience with FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare data formats * Exposure to regulated or mission-critical environments, especially in healthcare or finance What we can offer you: * Generous PTO and competitive pay * Fullscript’s RRSP match program for financial health * Flexible benefits package and workplace wellness program * Training budget and company-wide learning initiatives * Discount on Fullscript catalog of products * Ability to work Wherever You Work Well* \n Why Fullscript?
