The Opportunity
Moosehead Breweries is seeking an Intermediate Creative Designer - 6 Month Contract to join our growing in-house Creative Team. Reporting to the Lead Designer, this role supports the development of high-quality creative work while ensuring consistency with established brand standards across a range of marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment. They are a strong communicator with a passion for design, a commitment to continuous learning, and an ability to manage multiple projects from concept through production.
This role requires experience across print and digital design including POS / retail signage, in-store displays and OOH campaigns along with various marketing/promotional initiatives.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lead Designer to ensure creative work aligns with brand standards and project objectives.
- Develop and present design concepts with clear strategic rationale while incorporating feedback effectively.
- Own a project from design to final production stages - ensuring files meet print specifications.
- Multi-task while meeting project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Review and refine artwork for consistency and accuracy.
- Continuously stay informed on design trends, tools, and industry best practices to elevate output and process.
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional work experience as a Creative Designer/Graphic Designer.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign).
- Strong experience in photo editing and image manipulation.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in a deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to process improvements.
