The Implementation Specialist is a hybrid role supporting both configuration projects and deployment of Volanté’s systems for new clients. On the configuration side, you will build tailored POS solutions for clients working closely with our internal projects team. On the deployment side, you will travel across Canada and the U.S. to install POS hardware/software, provide on-site technical support, and deliver client training during installations. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: • Install hardware and software for Volanté’s Point-of-Sale (POS) systems at new client sites, demonstrating strong Functional/Technical Skills and an Action Oriented approach. • Provide excellent on-site technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues efficiently. • Complete all project documentation accurately and promptly, maintaining clarity and accountability. • Conduct client training sessions on-site to ensure users are comfortable with new systems. • Collaborate closely with the Projects team to build customized POS solutions aligned with client business needs. • Deliver specialized phone and email support for clients using newly implemented software and features. • Support the Install team remotely by addressing operational issues and processing change requests. • Gather client information and develop innovative solutions using scripts or customized applications. • Partner with the Product Specialist team to identify, report, and help resolve bugs and application issues. • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, employing effective Priority Setting and Time Management. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: • Completed post-secondary education or higher, preferably in IT or a related field. • Eligible to travel across Canada and the United States. • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. • Excellent customer service orientation, always putting the client first (Customer Focus). • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Flexibility to work variable hours as project needs demand. • Valid driver’s license. • Some networking experience is an asset. • Experience with POS systems is highly advantageous. • Minimum 1 year experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems. • Minimum 1 year experience with SQL and relational databases. • Aptitude for data analysis and interpretation. • Hardware troubleshooting experience preferred. • Bash or PowerShell scripting experience is an asset.
