IBD Gastroenterologist – Boston Medical Center Brighton Collaborative hire with the Boston Medical Center Department of Gastroenterology Location: Brighton, MA Position Type: Full-time Specialty: Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) About the Opportunity Boston Medical Center and Boston Medical Center Brighton seek a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) to join our growing GI team. This collaborative position integrates clinical practice at BMC Brighton with academic and clinical affiliation through Boston Medical Center's Department of Gastroenterology This is an exciting opportunity to develop and expand an IBD-focused clinical program in a community setting with access to BMC’s tertiary IBD resources, multidisciplinary team support, clinical trials, and academic enrichment. Position Responsibilities Provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis Develop and grow an IBD clinical program at BMC Brighton, with access to specialty services at BMC (advanced endoscopy, colorectal surgery, nutrition, behavioral health) Perform endoscopic procedures with support from advanced GI technology and anesthesia services Participate in multidisciplinary IBD case conferences and treatment planning Collaborate with BMC’s IBD Center and Department of Gastroenterology for academic integration Participate in teaching residents and fellows (optional based on candidate interest) Engage in quality improvement, program development, and clinical innovation Optional participation in clinical research and clinical trials Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology Completion of fellowship training in Gastroenterology; IBD fellowship or advanced IBD experience preferred Eligible for Massachusetts medical license Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Interest in academic collaboration and program development Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice and education Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary and productivity incentives Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, malpractice coverage, and retirement plan CME allowance and dedicated CME time Leadership and program-building opportunities Relocation assistance available Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabled/Veterans According to the FTC, there has been a rise in employment offer scams.
