Position Overview We are seeking a part-time HVAC Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-minded, and able to work independently while representing AK Light Electric Corp with professionalism. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and inspections Install HVAC equipment and components as needed Troubleshoot system issues and provide clear recommendations to customers Maintain accurate service records and documentation Ensure compliance with company safety standards and local codes Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members Provide excellent customer service during every job Qualifications EPA 608 Certification (required) Minimum 2 years of HVAC service experience preferred Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and diagnostic tools Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying environments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good communication and customer service skills Schedule & Compensation Part-time: Flexible scheduling (typically 15–25 hours/week; hours vary based on workload) Occasional emergency/after-hours calls may be available Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience Additional opportunities for growth within the company How to Apply Please send your resume or work history and contact information to the application link.
