Job Description: The Part-time Supervisor oversees daily package operations, including the processing of outbound parcels, sorting, and loading. They supervise Warehouse Workers, administrative staff, and sorters, ensuring high standards for productivity, accuracy, safety, and organization. Key responsibilities include training, developing teams, and holding workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The supervisor also fosters effective leadership and builds strong working relationships across all levels of the organization. Job Type: Part-Time / Permanent Work Location: 5325 RHODES DR, WINDSOR ONTARIO Workdays: MONDAY - FRIDAY (FLEXIBILITY BASED ON OPERATIONAL NEEDS) Shift Start: 10:00AM averages 3-5 hours a day. * (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs) * Compensation: 21.00 per hour KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure all employees comply with safety policies and procedures, adhering to department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements Oversee training, development, and accountability for safety, production, and attendance, while maintaining high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, and organization Provide leadership and foster functional working relationships across all levels of the organization Manage department resources to optimize output, accuracy, and efficiency Ensure outbound packages are processed, loaded, and dispatched on time Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment, focusing on employee involvement, proactive communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continuous improvement Implement personal development plans and ensure employees receive detailed orientation, skills training, safety training, and coaching Ensure accurate submission of employee timecards on a weekly basis Conduct risk management, safety compliance audits, and routine inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance Apply knowledge of company structure and operations to resolve problems, make decisions, and achieve business objectives Generate customized reports, access relevant databases, and interpret data to improve performance REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Availability to work flexible shift hours including Saturdays, up to 5 - 6 days per week Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent – Preferred Management experience – Preferred WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposed to hot/cold temperatures when working warehouse ADITIONAL INFORMATION Applications must include an updated resume.
