Host/Hostess

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Warmly greet all guests upon their arrival.
• Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible.
• Inspect tables for proper presentation.
• When the restaurant is on a wait for tables, record the guest’s information in the NoWait App and provide the guest with an estimated wait time.
• Notify guests via the No Wait App when their table is ready.
• Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible.
• Make friendly conversation with guests as you walk them to their table.
• Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of the server’s name.
• Handle food: chips and salsa
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Attend all scheduled team member meetings

• Previous restaurant experience is not required but preferred.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to guests and other team members.
• Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
