As a Health Assessment Nurse, you will need to be happy with travelling to London and surrounding counties. You will be conducting health assessments for corporate companies and are responsible for evaluating patients' physical and mental well-being, collecting medical histories, and performing relevant examinations. They may also interpret diagnostic tests, develop care plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Additionally, as a nurse you will adhere to ethical and legal standards while maintaining accurate documentation of assessments and interventions. Responsibilities of a heath assessment nurse consists of the following: · Lifestyle review · Height, Weight & BMI · Body Fat % · Blood Pressure Test · Metabolic Age · Nutritional Review · Mental Health Signposting · Waist to height ratio · Visceral Fat Test · Body Water Percentage Test · Bone mass Assessment · Total Cholesterol test · Total to HDL ratio · Good Cholesterol Test · Blood glucose · Leucocytes · Triglycerides · Nitrite – Bacteria test · Protein – Kidney Disease · Ketones · Liver disease · Blood in Urine · Lung infection · ECG · Cardio Fitness test · Arteriosclerosis · Blood Oxygen Saturation · Thyroid Blood Test · Haemoglobin These will be broken down to the below clinics dependent on client request: Engage – 12-point health check – 15min Inspire – 16- point health check – 20min Enlighten – 27-point health Check – 30min Reassure – 32-point Health Check – 50min Essential requirements ❖ Registered with the NMC ❖ Must have a Right to Work in the UK ❖ Must be IT literate ❖ Previous experience doing Health Assessments About us GPDQ provides nationwide healthcare services for individuals, businesses, and the NHS.
