Head of Marketing

Userlane helps organizations stop wasting money on software training that doesn't work. Our technology shows large enterprises where applications drain training and support resources, then delivers AI assistance that reduces costs and helps people get work done.

The role

Own marketing strategy and execution for the company. Build pipeline through field events, partners, and campaigns that drive measurable results. You'll shape how we position ourselves in the market and work directly with the leadership team to scale what works. You'll lead a small team plus freelancers, agencies, and AI agents to deliver outcomes that matter.

What you'll do

• Build the annual marketing plan and quarterly execution roadmap
• Run field events that generate qualified pipeline
• Write positioning that makes our value clear to buyers
• Own the metrics: pipeline, conversion, revenue impact
• Partner with Sales to understand what closes deals and what doesn't
• Work with Product to launch features that customers actually want
• Build customer stories and case studies that help prospects make decisions
• Manage a team of 2-3 people plus external resources and AI tools
• Test campaigns and scale what works

What we're looking for

• 7+ years in B2B software marketing with proven results
• You've built campaigns that generated measurable pipeline
• You've run field events that drove revenue
• You write clear, simple copy that buyers understand
• You know how to work with and enable Sales 
• You use AI tools to work faster and smarter
• You've managed small teams and external resources
• You've built programs yourself, not just managed them
