Introduction As Head of Language Services, you oversee all translation and transcreation activities, ensuring content is linguistically flawless, culturally relevant, and aligned with brand voice across markets. You will lead process optimization, tool integration, and quality standards to continuously elevate the agency’s global language capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Act as the subject matter expert in all aspects of translation, localization, and transcreation. Support pitches and client presentations by providing linguistic and cultural expertise. Oversee and continuously improve language processes, workflows, and tools (including TMS and AI-assisted translation). Define and maintain quality standards for linguistic excellence across all markets and content types. Collaborate closely with creative and production teams to ensure transcreated content preserves the intent and tone of the original work. Manage and nurture relationships with linguists, translators, and language partners. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in localization, AI, and language services, integrating relevant innovations into our operations. Train and mentor internal teams to increase linguistic awareness and best practices. Profile: 8+ years of experience in translation, localization, or transcreation, ideally in an agency or global brand environment. Strong command of Translation Management Systems (TMS) and familiarity with AI-assisted translation tools. Proven ability to manage workflows and quality across multiple markets and languages. Deep understanding of linguistic nuance, tone of voice, and cultural adaptation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to partner with creative and strategic teams. Comfortable balancing strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
