About the role Head of Internal Communications & Engagement Location: Maidstone Support Centre (with occasional travel) Salary: 60-65k Contract: Permanent, 4–5 days per week Hidden Hearing is seeking a dynamic Head of Internal Communications & Engagement to shape the future of how we connect, inspire, and engage our people. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll partner with senior leaders to design and deliver a strategic programme that informs colleagues, strengthens culture, and drives pride and belonging across the organisation. This is more than a communications role it’s about influencing culture, leading change, and bringing our vision and values to life during an exciting period of transformation and growth.Responsibilities Develop and deliver a strategic internal communications and engagement plan. Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team on communication and engagement. Create compelling content across newsletters, intranet, social channels, and events. Manage communication platforms and ensure consistent, integrated messaging. Lead initiatives that strengthen culture, recognition, and employee connection. Drive change communications for transformation projects. Plan and deliver major internal events and conferences. Collaborate with senior leaders and external partners to ensure high-quality outputs. About You What We’re Looking For Essential: Senior-level experience in internal communications and employee engagement. Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to tone and clarity. Proven ability to deliver strategic comms plans and manage change communications. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at executive level. Organised, proactive, and able to work independently. Familiarity with digital communication platforms and analytics. Desirable: Hands-on content production (video, creative campaigns). Experience delivering internal events and conferences. Knowledge of employee engagement frameworks and culture-building initiatives. Background in healthcare or multi-site environments.
