And that’s where you come in. London, Greater London, United Kingdom (Hybrid) Our Opportunity We are currently looking for a Document Controller to join the team in our Stratford office. Day to day you will be working in a team of Document Controllers and manage relationships with teams from every part of our business. You will need strong stakeholder management skills and be highly organised. This role will work from our office in Stratford, London. You will enjoy our SMART working policy, which sees you in an office a minimum of twice per week, with the ability to work in a hybrid fashion around this. Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: The implementation of Document Management activities across projects in accordance with the Data Management Plan The definition of detail document management processes Support to the creation, review and approval of project documents and data The creation and maintenance of document and data registers The maintenance and protection of document and data repositories (hard and soft copy) Receipt and distribution of documents and data Performance of document and data record verification activities, including reviewing key repositories Liaison with internal team, client and subcontractors to resolve queries Archiving of documents and data in accordance with the Data Management Plan Understand and follow the project delivery processes, methodologies, and use the defined tools as set out in the Hitachi Management System and the project specific Data Management Plans Technical Skills and Experience Previous experience in a customer facing role Experience with Data Management tools such as SharePoint or LiveLink, as well as strong MS Office and Adobe skills Prior experience of implementing document and data management within a Project and/or Commercial environment Able to work with minimal direction delivering document and data management activities within a challenging environment Understanding of Configuration Control. Human Skills Able to establish strong relationships with the rest of the team Methodical and meticulous, with a keen eye for detail Proactive Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication, including good customer service skills Excellent relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders Able to learn and understand the process of controlling our artefacts Strong at working on initiative and helping to drive the team forward Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Math’s or equivalent High standards of numeracy and literacy What We Can Offer We’re committed to giving you opportunities to be your best.
