Unlock Your Passions at Walton Lodge Vets: Walton Lodge Veterinary Group is a friendly and supportive group of six small animal practices based in Bishop’s Stortford, Bengeo, Harlow, Hoddesdon, Stevenage, and Ware. You’ll mainly be based at our Bishop’s Stortford practice, but there may be times when you’ll lend a hand across our other sites. Bishop’s Stortford is a lovely town about 30 miles northeast of central London and close to London Stansted Airport, offering the perfect mix of countryside charm and city convenience. All of our practices are easy to reach, with great transport links and regular bus routes. Our experienced and welcoming team includes 8 Vets, 6 Nurses, and a brilliant support team who all work closely together to provide the very best care for our patients. Among us, we’re proud to have an Ultrasound Certificate holder who’s always happy to share their knowledge. You’ll be paired with a dedicated mentor to guide and support you, alongside our friendly team who are always on hand to help and cheer you on. Our fantastic practice is well-equipped with everything you need to provide excellent care. We have a dedicated operating theatre, three consulting rooms, a large prep area, and separate dog and cat wards. There are also a modern imaging and dental suite with digital X-ray facilities (both standard and dental), an ultrasound scanner, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, ECG, and a tonometer. Enjoy a welcoming environment with structured support and flexibility to suit your lifestyle. You’ll work a 40-hour week over four 10-hour days, with a half-hour break each day. You’ll also be part of our Saturday rota, working every other Saturday morning, giving you plenty of weekends to enjoy your time outside of work.
