Introduction
Our Data and Technology Services team advises our clients on leveraging data and technology more effectively across tax, finance and other functions to meet compliance and reporting requirements and to improve existing processes. Our service spans a range of technology solutions, including robotic process automation, data analytics, software implementation, systems reviews and IT due diligence exercises. The team works with clients from all business sectors (comprising our tax, audit, and advisory sectors) for a varied project portfolio.
We believe that hands-on experience is key to creating well-rounded trusted data and technology consultants. This means you'll have exposure to multiple platforms and systems across all our offerings from the outset.
What will you be doing?
During your training contract you will study for the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) professional qualification and a variety of technology focussed skills, including robotics (RPA), data analysis and visualisations, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. Other certifications will be achieved and will focus on the core technologies and platforms in use within the firm and the wider market.
In the first year, you can expect to gain a basic understanding of the technology solutions we work with, including Alteryx, SQL Server, PowerBI, Python and more, whilst supporting the team on various client projects. You will be encouraged to support managers with the on-going running of client portfolios, enabling you to develop a greater understanding of their businesses and to develop core management skills from an early stage in your career.

You’ll be supported in completing your qualification; gaining the finance knowledge, accountancy skills and real-world business experience to jumpstart your career in accountancy, tax and business advisory. And you won’t do it alone - you’ll be joining as part of a cohort with your own personal support network, including a buddy to offer first-hand experience. Your qualification training will be supported by a leading UK training provider, and you’ll be given the space and time to study whilst developing a variety of skills to become a well-rounded advisor. You’ll receive guidance and support each step of the way by our dedicated Learning & Development team and training contact for your department to make sure you have everything you need to realise your potential from day one.
