About the Role As a Front of House Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business by providing a positive front-of-house experience for our clients and visitors. In this role, you will provide front-of-house management and administrative support, acting as an ambassador for the Company. The role requires someone who enjoys customer service, is organised, numerate, with good knowledge of Microsoft packages. It would be advantageous to have previous administrative or client-facing experience, but this is not essential as job knowledge will be built through on-the-job training, your apprenticeship programme and supportive coaching from peers. As an apprentice, you will be an integral part of our team, gaining valuable experience and skills in various aspects of front-of-house and business administration under supervision. Key responsibilities include: Front of house management: welcoming visitors, ensuring the reception area and meeting rooms are clean and presentable, managing the switchboard, answering calls and responding to client needs. Client service: act as the first point of contact for all visitors, prepare rooms for client meetings and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients. Admin and documentation: assist with preparing client meeting packs and client documentation. Other duties include printing, copying, scanning and mailing of documentation, sorting and distributing the post. Health and Safety: maintain security for the building, ensuring all visitors are signed in on arrival and signed out on leaving. Assist with emergencies that may arise in the workplace and ensure health and safety procedures are followed as directed by the H&S Officer. Assist in health and safety activities such as first aid and fire evacuation. Facilities: work with external third parties to facilitate the upkeep and maintenance of the building and its environment with the support of the Estates Management Officer. Ensure appropriate stock levels of stationery and housekeeping supplies are maintained in the office. Data and system management: use systems to complete various duties and assist the wider team with general admin duties such as input of client data and data cleansing. Professional development: commitment to ongoing self-development and completing a recognised modern apprenticeship in Digital Applications Support. About your apprenticeship training Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working as part of the Front of House team, where you will gain practical experience in a professional work environment. Alongside work, you will study a modern apprenticeship in Digital Applications Support, which will help you to develop knowledge and skills to support your career development. You will receive 20% off-the-job training during your apprenticeship, which is included in your weekly working hours. Learning will be completed remotely with a development coach who will be available for support throughout your apprenticeship. Regular meetings will be arranged with your coach to discuss your progress and prepare you for the end-point assessment.
