The FP&A Lead Analyst serves as a key strategic partner to the CFO and Director of FP&A, providing comprehensive support across monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc initiatives. This role oversees core FP&A functions, including monthly financial reporting, quarterly board presentations, M&A analysis and modeling, and the development and mentorship of junior team members. Responsibilities Oversee the monthly leadership reporting process, managing a team of analysts and consultants responsible for financial, bookings, attrition, headcount, and other key operational reports. Lead ongoing updates to the leadership reporting package to ensure accuracy, relevance, and operational efficiency. Support preparation, analysis, and delivery of the quarterly financial board deck, including execution of ad-hoc projects tied to board reporting. Conduct various ad-hoc analyses and projects at the direction of the CFO. Lead ad-hoc and quarterly deliverables in support of Private Equity analysts. Manage, develop, and mentor a small team of junior analysts. Requirements Direct experience in a software or subscription-based business. Experience within a Private Equity-owned organization. Demonstrated success as a hands-on financial leader in a multi-location commercial environment with $100MM+ in revenue and a track record of supporting scalable growth. Proven ability to develop and mentor high-performing analytical teams. Ability to serve as a value-added business partner across all organizational functions. Experience working with international business operations. Experience in acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration, including tracking synergies and cost-savings initiatives. Strong process-improvement mindset with a history of identifying and implementing enhancements. Requirements Knowledge & Skills Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce, NS, and VENA. Strong leadership presence and excellent communication skills. Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a STEM field. CPA and/or MBA preferred but not required. 7+ years of relevant experience, including managerial or supervisory responsibilities.
