We are currently seeking a full-time Forklift/Inventory Control Associate. Our organization is a growing and dynamic business and operates in our two facilities just off Hwy. 36 in Lindsay, Ontario. Under the direction of the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor, this position is primarily responsible for operating a forklift to safely move, load, and organize materials throughout the facility. The role supports production by ensuring timely delivery of supplies and maintaining efficient material flow. Additional responsibilities include tracking inventory in the ERP system, performing routine cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and releasing inventory items based on production needs. Follow all safety guidelines, policy, and departmental SOPS Perform and manage daily and weekly cycle counts as scheduled or requested Stage various materials required for daily production Investigate and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, develop understanding of Business Central inventory and other various transactions Receive materials in a timely and accurate manner Assist with month-end closing and year-end physical inventory processes Follow proper procedure when defective products are discovered Check date-sensitive products for expiration, identify and recommend slow moving product for storage, and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders Ensure all skids/boxes are labeled properly Receive and Ship finished goods as required Maintain inventory listings of WIP Coordinate with R&D and QA on request Effectively communicate with Mariposa Dairy Associates Other duties as assigned JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Flexibility of hours when necessary. Shift work required, overtime, and weekends as needed Some work on statutory holidays and / or weekends. Good team player. Detail oriented. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Able to work in ranges of temperature and humidity. Safe handling of chemicals and proper use of PPE. Must have good attendance. Attention to detail. Must be able to follow SOP, GMP and complete forms accurately. Must have a good and positive attitude towards change and other employees.
