[What the role is] Assist forensic pathologists in coronial medico-legal death investigations, assist in post-mortem examinations of human/biological remains, and support the daily operations of the mortuary. [What you will be working on] Assist in the processing of daily Coroner's cases, from the preparation of cases to the release of bodies to the undertaker. Assist forensic pathologists in the (coronial) investigations into the cause of death, assist in post-mortem examinations of human/biological remains, etc. Maintain autopsy suites in a manner that ensures a safe workplace. Able to respond to potential biosafety breaches in the workplace. Assist in monitoring the supply and usage of mortuary supplies, instruments and equipment. To maintain order and stock necessary supplies for the proper function of the mortuary, and for emergencies/disasters. Monitor the security and safety aspects of the facility to maintain functionality of the security system and respond to any potential security breaches.
