Responsibilities:

• - Oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles, including scheduling routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• - Control and reduce operational costs associated with the fleet, including monitoring fuel expenses, maintenance costs, and insurance premiums.
• - Ensure compliance with government regulations, such as Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, emissions standards, and safety regulations.
• - Manage the acquisition of new vehicles for the fleet and make decisions about retiring or selling older vehicles.
• - Maintain records related to vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and other relevant data.
• - Implement safety protocols to ensure the safety of drivers, vehicles, and cargo.
• - Lead sustainability initiatives, such as adopting fuel-efficient technologies and reducing emissions.
• - Plan and coordinate responses to vehicle-related emergencies, such as accidents or breakdowns.

Qualifications:

• - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, business management) preferred.
• - Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role.
• - Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, and safety regulations.
• - Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• - Proficiency in using fleet management software and tools.
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• - Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• - Knowledge of sustainability practices in fleet management is a plus.
