Join our team TELUS Health is looking for a part-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant for the Waterloo, ON area. Here's the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together The Fitness & Wellness Consultant will be responsible for promoting and delivering fitness and wellness programming to employees in a corporate location, which includes teaching a variety of group exercise classes, monitoring the wellness facility, and organizing onsite wellness events. Here’s how Supervision of a wellness facility space Instructing and scheduling of fitness classes and monitoring participation Monitoring facility usage to provide guidance and ensure safety of members Providing fitness and wellness programming and events Reporting of monthly and/or quarterly statistics Oversee contract fitness instructors & allied health professionals if required Qualifications You're the missing piece of the puzzle Degree or Diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health Promotion Current certifications in Group Fitness and CPR/First Aid/AED Personal Training certification is preferred Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field an asset Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health Works well as part of a team High degree of self-motivation and initiative Strong organization and time management skills Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications Who is TELUS Health Care Centres We are a national network of renowned medical professionals dedicated to identifying health risks, inspiring positive lifestyle choices and improving patient outcomes.
