Fire and/or Security Design Engineer What You Will Do Design and price fire detection, life safety, or security systems to meet standards such as BS5839-1, MOJ specifications, BS7273, and BS6266. Understanding networking principles is essential for interconnected systems. Designs may use AutoCAD/Revit and other software for complete systems or modifications to existing. You’ll manage technical aspects of design from tender through to installation demonstrating commercial awareness and presenting technology solutions to customers. How You Will Do It Formulate and present technical Fire, Life Safety, or Security solutions across multiple sites. Showcase technical knowledge and commercial awareness during planning. Navigate ambiguity, meet deadlines, and manage change effectively. Prioritise competing tasks through strategic planning. Embrace new technology and innovation.
