General Summary Financial Analyst – FP&A This role is primarily responsible for supporting the preparation of monthly gross profit reports, including month-end closing activities, forecasting, and business planning, while meticulously reviewing accounting data for accuracy and performing detailed variance analyses. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support timely preparation of accurate financial reports in accordance with IFRS on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis Reconcile financial information by collecting and analyzing accounting data Review and analyze financial accruals and make adjustments as necessary Assist with quarterly review and annual audit process Improve accounting process to ensure the best practices in place Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and perform other duties as needed Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance At least 1-3 years of experience in accounting and/or financial planning role Accounting designation and knowledge of SAP would be an asset Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS) and financial analysis techniques Understanding of financial closing processes and financial transaction flows Must be comfortable in dealing with large volume of data and to deliver the results on timely basis consistently Must be capable of automating routine excel exercises Must have proactive work approach Attention to detail with advanced MS office skills such as Power Query
