Opportunity: Azelis France is looking for a Chief Finance Officer, based in La Défense, Courbevoie, France. Mission : The CFO France is responsible for all Financial Services – Controlling, Accounting, Tax and Reporting - as well as the implementation of high standards of financial and internal control in alignment with Azelis policies. Responsibilities also include local IT, legal and insurances. The CFO France has a dual reporting line to the France Managing Director (MD) and the Regional CFO based in the headquarters in Antwerp (Belgium) and works closely together with the Corporate Business Controllers, Shared Service Center and Corporate Legal and IT teams. This is a management and a leadership role, as a key member of the local executive committee, business partner and daily partner of the France Managing Director. The CFO France manage, coach & develop Talents within the finance Team. Main Accountabilities : Accounting Drive the implementation and maintenance of accounting processes and financial control of the local entity: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collection, Fixed Assets, Payroll, VAT and Tax reporting, expense control; Adhere, communicate and implement the group’s accounting policy, responsible for reporting any deviation; Drive Process Optimization using functions/options of the ERP System (D365) and support local process owners; Coordinate Month’s End Closing Process and adhere to group time tables; Coordinate and support local finance staff in the preparation of Year End Closing Process and Statutory Audit process; adhere to group time tables; Manage local tax risks, support group tax and intercompany pricing policy, maintain transfer pricing policy framework; Coverage of local GAAP and legal requirements for the local entities. Controlling Manage all financial control matters for the country, act as “financial conscience” of the area. Strong link with sales and operations management is required; Support the Country Managing Directors and local Business Managers with Strategic Business Planning, Financial advice and ad hoc requests; Establish appropriate understanding and awareness of financial performance indicators at all levels of the organization; Analyse business performance versus planned and previous performance, search for continuous improvements as regards margin and pricing management; Prepare the Annual Budget, Forecasting and Business Planning processes for the area of competence and actively participate to the country target-setting process; Support set-up of management information framework by promoting the use of Microsoft BI and OneStream tools; Look for synergies by Integrating Finance, IT and operational efforts in the Regional Shared Service Center; Ensure transparency and constant questioning of the status quo, hands-on approach in setting up and analyzing customer and product base in cooperation with the local teams; Participate to different Business Projects in the area of commercial excellence, functional finance development and operations improvement; Treasury Adhere to the Azelis Group’s treasury guideline and implement cash flow initiatives at country level; Ensure accuracy of Treasury System Monitoring and Forecasting of Cash Position; Drive GWC improvement of the area of competence and run dedicated action programs to optimize the working capital levels in the countries; Coordinate Foreign exchange process in alignment with group Treasury; Ensure compliance with Credit Policies and coordination of Credit insurance process; Monitor and manage credit risks, set credit limits in accordance with the Internal Rules of Procedure (IRoP). Legal & Compliance Adhere to group policies and procedures (including the IRoP) as well local laws and regulations; Cooperate with Group Legal on all legal matters (including litigation and corporate housekeeping); Administration of local insurance policies and act as partner of Group Legal in relation to Azelis group insurance policies; Perform operations review in the country to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and improve operational efficiency (i.e. internal control, efficiency of OWC), in consultation with Regional CFO. People Management Manage, Coach & Develop Talents within the finance Team Required qualifications & skills: Sense of ownership and drive: self-starter and problem solver who shows a bias for action, acts promptly to remove "roadblocks" and ensures accountability. Team player with excellent networking and collaboration skills, able to deal at all levels in the organization, both locally and internationally. Business-minded, able to manage risks, opportunity and ambiguity. Good communication and presentation skills.
