If so, Ohly Americas has an exciting Finance Analyst opportunity for you in Boyceville, Wisconsin!

The Finance Analyst will be reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Analyst and play a critical role in supporting the Controller and CFO to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This position focuses on operational accounting, inventory revaluation, fixed asset management, and capital spend tracking while contributing to forecasting and budgeting processes. You will manage key close activities and leverage reporting tools like Power BI to provide actionable insights that improve efficiency and compliance.

In this exciting role you will be responsible for:

Accounting Operations:

  • Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, inventory revaluation, and fixed assets.
  • Perform reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Support month-end close and reporting processes.

Inventory & Fixed Assets:

  • Oversee inventory revaluation and ensure accurate valuation adjustments.
  • Manage fixed asset capitalization and depreciation schedules.
  • Track and report capital expenditures, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Prepare supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Create dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools to visualize financial performance.
  • Assist with variance analysis and provide insights for leadership.

Forecasting & Budgeting:

  • Support the Controller in building forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Deliver accurate data and insights for planning processes.

Compliance & Controls:

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate policies.
  • Support audit requests and documentation.

ERP & Data Integrity:

  • Maintain accuracy of financial data in ERP systems.
  • Collaborate on system enhancements and reporting improvements.

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • More than three years of accounting/finance experience, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and inventory accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communicator who can present clear, concise insights to leadership.
  • Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred.
  • MS Dynamics 365 a plus.
