Every visit makes a difference: from enabling someone to cook a meal again, to supporting them back on their feet after hospital discharge. If you want to see the direct results of your care and celebrate small but powerful milestones with clients, this role is for you. ๐ Locations โ East Hertfordshire and surrounding villages Including (but not limited to): Bishopโs Stortford Hertford Ware Sawbridgeworth Buntingford Stanstead Abbotts & Stanstead St Margarets Much Hadham & Little Hadham Walkern, Watton-at-Stone, Standon & Puckeridge Braughing, Hunsdon, High Cross & Thundridge Great Amwell, Wareside, Albury & Widford Aspenden & Westmill ๐ท Pay Rates โ Per Shift We believe great work deserves great pay. ยฃ14.20 per hour โ Monday to Friday ยฃ16.00 per hour โ Saturday & Sunday โจ Guaranteed hours available for the right candidates โ giving you the security of regular work. โฐ Shifts โ 7 days a week Day: 06:00/07:00 โ 14:00 Evening: 14:00 โ 22:00/23:00 ๐ Requirements Full UK driving licence Access to a vehicle (essential for travel between clients) Job Description ๐ What Youโll Be Doing As a Reablement Care Assistant, youโll provide essential support that truly changes lives, including: ๐ค Companionship โ conversations, activities, outings ๐ Medication Management โ collecting prescriptions, reminders, safe administration ๐ฒ Nutrition & Mealtimes โ preparing nutritious meals, considering dietary needs ๐ก Housekeeping โ light cleaning, laundry, tidying ๐ถ Mobility Assistance โ transfers, walking support, use of aids ๐ Health Monitoring โ observing and reporting changes in condition ๐ Social Inclusion โ helping maintain community and family connections ๐ฌ Emotional Support โ empathy, reassurance, and a listening ear ๐ Documentation โ accurate record keeping ๐ก๏ธ Safety & Emergency Response โ creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed ๐ค Collaboration โ working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families Qualifications ๐ฆธ What Youโll Need (Besides a Cape and Superpowers!) Hold onto your hats โ ideally, youโll have at least 6 months of social care experience to join our merry band of care crusaders! But hereโs the truth: what matters most to us is your heart of gold and your ability to sprinkle kindness wherever you go. Youโll need to be as resilient as a rubber band and as eager to learn as a curious kitten.
