Facilities Technician

Open until filled - Magnolia, Texas. 

Job Summary: 

The Facilities Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Facilities upkeep- drywall repair, painting, light plumbing and lighting replacement.

· Production equipment PM’s.

· Assisting with large facility projects.

· Fire extinguisher upkeep.

· Moving office furniture.

· Identifying facility repairs before they become a problem.

· Travel if required.

· Pick up parts and supplies.

· Willing to work irregular hours and overtime as needed.

· Support production operations when needed.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required 
• 2+ years of maintenance related experience required.
• Basic painting, plumbing, lighting and mechanical skills.
• Basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to complete work duties safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. 
• Works well as a team and solo.
• Displays excellent time management skills.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Comfortable operating delivery vehicles/large equipment.

Physical Requirements: 

· Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.

· Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities.

· Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings. 

· Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
