You’ll work closely with procurement, engineering, shipping, legal, and operations teams to ensure all international trade activity is fully compliant with UK Export Control, sanctions, customs, and global trade regulations.The RoleManage and maintain export control compliance across the UK businessPrepare, review and approve import, export, and cross-trade documentationClassify export-controlled goods in collaboration with engineering teamsSubmit and manage export licences (SPIRE / LITE, OGEL, SIEL)Conduct due diligence checks and maintain accurate recordsMonitor regulatory changes and advise internal stakeholdersCoordinate with carriers, brokers, freight forwarders and government agenciesSupport Internal Compliance Program (ICP) improvements and auditsProduce SOPs, DMS documentation and compliance reportingDeliver training and awareness sessions where requiredAct as a key escalation point for potential compliance risksAbout YouUK Export Control experience is essentialExperience with SPIRE / LITE applications and dual-use or military classificationsKnowledge of Incoterms, sanctions, customs and global trade regulationsStrong due diligence and documentation skillsConfident working with cross-functional teams and external agenciesExcellent attention to detail and the ability to challenge where neededExperience in aerospace, defence or high-value goods manufacturing is a plusFamiliarity with D365 ERP is beneficialPackageSalary up to £45,000Company benefitsOpportunities for development within a global compliance functionExposure to complex international trade, export control and sanctions workHow to ApplyIf you’re looking for a challenging compliance role within a supportive and established global team, we’d love to hear from you.
