We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team in London. You will be responsible for supporting the Group Finance ESG Director in meeting the ESG Strategy of the Group. This role will collaborate with different teams across the business including finance, facilities, human resources, legal, risk and compliance, marketing and communications, and the responsible investment team. This is a hybrid role, based 2 days in the office and 3 at home, although initially may be required to attend the office 3 days a week. As ESG Assistant, your responsibilities will include among others: Monitoring the progress of, improving, and collaborating with other teams to support the ESG strategy and the progression of allocated ESG & environmental actions Working with climate consultants to support calculation of emissions and implementation of initiatives to reduce the environment impact of Evelyn Partners and to improve the quality of the information Collaborating with our partners and the procurement team in monitoring and measuring Evelyn Partners’ ESG risk related to the supply chain. This includes consulting directly with our suppliers and supporting them in completion of their annual ESG questionnaires Collaborating with teams in making progress on initiatives supported by Evelyn Partners. For instance, we are a United Nations Global Compact Network participant and we will be reporting on progress annually Legal and regulatory requirements relating to ESG and the environment is evolving and the ESG team need to ensure that they keep up to date with those changes There is an element of report writing and preparation of internal communications to update the business on the progress being made, for instance contributing to the Annual Corporate Responsibility Report and other ESG related reports Qualifications Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you should: ESG / Sustainability related degree A passion for sustainability and the environment, ambitious and keen to learn, develop and grow with the business Good written and verbal skills. with excellent attention to detail Strong analytical and numerical skills would be an advantage as this role is within the Finance team Good Microsoft skills including excel, word, and Power point (excel used for data analytics) Good collaboration skills and confident at dealing with colleagues at all levels Additional Information As a colleague here at Evelyn Partners, you will have access to benefits that include: Competitive salary Private medical insurance Life assurance Pension contribution Hybrid working model (role dependant) Generous holiday package Option to purchase additional holiday Shared parental leave We are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
