Summary: The Engagement Programme Lead is responsible for managing the engagement programme and implementing the insight and engagement strategy. This pivotal role involves converting data and research into clear, actionable, and customer-focused insights, which are then utilised across the organisation to enhance service delivery and inform strategic business decisions. The lead will oversee insight projects from inception to completion, serving as an internal "voice of the customer" and sector expert for stakeholders throughout the organisation. Main responsibilities: Design, plan, and execute both qualitative and quantitative market research projects to address core business questions. Select the most appropriate research methodologies and supporting techniques to meet defined business objectives. Develop research instruments, including screening tools, discussion guides, and survey questionnaires. Manage the end-to-end research process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Proactively scope and recommend research activities to anticipate future business needs. Manage and maintain the company’s insight hub, ensuring that the hub is up to date with latest internal and external insight, and that stakeholders across the business are utilising the tool Management of the Independent Challenge Group (or equivalent) and activities, as well as action and challenge logs. Analyse quantitative and qualitative data sets to identify trends, customer needs, and actionable insights. Translate research findings into clear, concise, and compelling reports, presentations, and data visualizations. Provide strategic recommendations based on research findings to senior management and cross-functional teams Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their business challenges and identify research needs, acting as an internal expert on customer and market insights. Manage relationships with external research agencies, overseeing the briefing process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality deliverables. Build the profile of the research function across the business by championing a customer-centric and data-driven approach. You'll need: Skills / Qualifications / Experience Previous experience in a Market Research & Insights role. Ability to manage and meet deadlines. The role requires strong and effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong delivery focus, able to support the delivery of multiple projects and activities. Experienced and effective networker with the ability to work with others, both internal and external in a collaborative way at an operational level.
