To support this leadership and growth, our R&D electronic departement is at the forefront of audio design with its teams located in France (Paris - Marcoussis) and Germany (subsidary CAMCO located in Wenden). L-Acoustics is looking to expand both electronic and purchasing teams by recruiting an Electronic Components Purchasing Specialist (M/F). What you will contribute to The Electronic Components Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for activities of identifying second source or obsolescence needs of electronic components based on his knowhow and skills, as well as managing the corresponding supplier relationship from supplier evaluation, sourcing & price negotiation and savings. His/her job is then a hybrid management of technical-electronic skills as well as commercial purchasing activities. He/she will be located into the Purchasing department to benefit from global supplier relationship leverage and cost savings opportunities but will have to work closely with Electronic R&D, Quality Department, and Industrial Department. Below are the mains missions of the role: Define and follow-up of critical components (Technical and Purchasing (Capacity / Lead Time)). Find second sources / solve obsolescence risks through in-depth datasheet parameters analysis of our electronic boards and component sourcing. Manage the obsolete electronic components risk (based on software Silicon Expert) Preselect potential new suppliers and manage direct supplier relationships Make concrete and focused recommendation to Electronic R&D and purchasing team about replacement strategy. Support and follow-up the homologation activities that will be executed by R&D teams around the proposed electronic component targeted. Develop, lead and execute pre-sourcing strategy for electronic components Support suppliers in process Audits Manage PCN (Product Change Notice) of component centralization Propose updates to the Altium CAD libraries Propose a cost saving action plan and follow-up Deal with Components manufacturers and distributor channel at group Level (Pricing in France / Germany) Provide Support to Quality Department, R&D and Industrial Department Monitor electronics industry trends and problems What you will need to be successful Engineering Degree in Electronics (or equivalent). 5–8 years of professional experience as an Electronics Engineer, with strong technical expertise. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Sales or Purchasing. (Background as an Application Field Engineer will be considered an asset) Proven electronics industry connections (chip manufacturers, distributors, EMSs) Good knowledge of electronics components (passive and active) Good knowledge of PCB technology Good knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, THT) Demonstrated supplier’s management Team player with strong inter-personal communication Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills Ability to drive technical proposals to limit R&D validations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Fluent in English mandatory, German is a plus to interact with German team What we offer At L-Acoustics, newcomers are welcomed into a dynamic and inclusive environment that blends technological excellence with human-centered values.
