At Assystem, your future team will support your technical growth while you contribute to projects driving the UK’s low-carbon future. Job Description🚀 The Job Mission This is a hybrid role based at our Bristol (Aztec West) office, typically three days per week. We can only consider candidates living within a commutable distance, though relocation support may be available. You’ll be part of the electrical engineering team managing small power equipment layouts and supplier interfaces, ensuring technical quality, compliance, and timely delivery.Responsibilities:Manage layout and interface of small power equipmentDeliver design of local cable trays and routing plansReview supplier documents and coordinate contributor feedbackResolve technical issues and supplier clarifications promptlyTrack modifications, non-conformities and site-based changesOversee risks, open points and design change managementInterface with multidisciplinary teams to align electrical input Qualifications🛠 Skills & QualificationsDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent disciplineExperience in small power or distribution system designUnderstanding of British/European electrical standardsProven experience reviewing supplier technical documentationKnowledge of equipment layout, routing and installation drawingsBackground in nuclear, power generation or heavy industrial projectsFamiliarity with design change and modification management processesAbility to coordinate between suppliers and engineering teams Additional Information🌟 Join us at Assystem and be part of a global team delivering some of the most exciting and complex engineering projects in the world.
