ProblemShared has created strong partnerships servicing several NHS, university, and insurer contracts to deliver high quality ADHD and Autism assessments as well as assessments for learning differences. We offer wrap-around care in the form of psychoeducation, prescribing, educational navigation, and therapy sessions all under one roof.   -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About the role: Our Education Navigators work collaboratively with young people, their parents, and schools, colleges or universities;  to ensure that appropriate reasonable adjustments are put in place, in line with the individual’s recent diagnosis. In this role, you will meet with young people and their families to review current support arrangements in school, college, or other educational settings. You will also work closely with education providers to share specialist teaching advice and ensure that each learner’s needs are effectively met. This includes conducting all meetings professionally, working collaboratively with all stakeholders, and producing comprehensive, person-centred support plans. What you will do: * Meeting and supporting children, young people, and their families to discuss their current educational situation. * Liaising with schools, colleges, and alternative provision settings to understand and plan for the learner’s needs. * Designing bespoke support and provision to enable learners to reach their full potential within their education setting. * Writing thorough, clear, and concise reports to facilitate access to appropriate provision aligned with each learner’s profile. * Communicating and listening effectively throughout the Education Navigation process. You will need: The ideal candidate will already be working within the education sector, hold Qualified Teacher Status, and have achieved the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination, with at least five years’ experience as a SENCO.  A further qualification within the field of SEND and a strong understanding of neurodivergence across education is desirable. The role requires excellent assessment skills, alongside clear, compassionate written and verbal communication. * Be a fully qualified teacher with the SENCO National Award, at least five years’ experience, and a further qualification in the field of SEND in schools. * Have a deep understanding of neurodivergent needs, with particular emphasis on autism, ADHD, and Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) * Have a genuine and proven commitment to advocating for children and young people who are neurodivergent. * Be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills. * Have excellent computer literacy, with the ability to write clear, concise, and professional reports that highlight both strengths and challenges. * Have the creativity to plan effective provision for children and young people within the current educational climate. * Have a clear, professional, warm, and informative communication style. * Have robust critical thinking and problem-solving skills. * Be highly organised with effective workload management skills. * Be self-motivated and comfortable working remotely, balancing independent tasks and collaboration with colleagues across the UK. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Recruitment Process and Next Steps: At ProblemShared, we see beyond just your CV.
