We’re looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our team at a prestigious residential development in London (SW7). Location: South Kensington, SW7 Salary: £36, 971 Hours: 4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm What You’ll Be Doing: Lead by Example: Support and oversee the front-of-house team, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient service for all residents and visitors. Maintain Standards: Conduct daily inspections of internal and external communal areas to ensure the development remains spotless, safe, and well-maintained. Resident Support: Act as the first point of contact for residents’ enquiries, maintenance issues, or complaints — handling each with professionalism and care. Operational Oversight: Manage parcel deliveries, access permissions, and parking, ensuring all systems and procedures run smoothly. Contractor Management: Oversee contractors and maintenance staff, ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard. Health & Safety: Take overall responsibility for site safety — from fire alarm testing to reporting hazards and ensuring compliance. Team Leadership: Mentor and support the concierge, cleaning, and maintenance teams, maintaining morale and ensuring consistent performance across shifts. Problem Solving: When the Front Desk Manager is away, take full ownership of day-to-day operations — managing move-ins/outs, investigating complaints, and providing a detailed handover on their return. What You’ll Bring: Experience in managing a concierge or front-of-house team within a high-end residential or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills — able to motivate, coach, and support others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Sound understanding of Health & Safety practices (IOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirable). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems. A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach. A genuine passion for service excellence and creating a welcoming environment.
