As a 3.5T Delivery Driver based in Sittingbourne you’ll be responsible for: Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies mainly within a 80 mile radius of the branch The number of deliveries will vary day to day from 15 - 20 mainly to new build construction sites but also residential customers and other businesses Carrying out vehicle checks Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators toilets and sinks Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:00am - 4:00pm. And here’s what we’d like you to have: Full UK Manual Driving Licence Previous multidrop driving is preferred Excellent communication skills Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic Please be aware that we are extending the application period for this role until the new year.
