Job Description General Summary The Regional Finance Director will use their business acumen and enterprise leadership mindset to play an active part on the cross functional country leadership team with a focus on providing Finance partnering support. This includes forecasting, performance management, accounting, and internal controls. Key Duties and Responsibilities Provide financial leadership to the region and partner with the local functional business leads Driving partnership with Senior leaders in the region through strong strategic and operational finance and accounting support to make well informed investment decisions Part of core deal team working to unlock reimbursement in the region; lead on all financial analysis in support of these third-party contract negotiations Drive the region’s monthly financial forecast and financial reporting process Accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and report accurate financial results Adopt global practices across the region to ensure timely and accurate reporting Work with international finance and corporate tax on all local tax filings Support the international strategic sourcing team as it relates to sourcing initiatives Assist with Statutory accounts filings across legal entities serviced Participate in external audit and other professional services relationships Participate in global projects representing regional needs Support local team in analyzing and driving market KPIs Partner with local team in setting and controlling field incentive scheme Knowledge and Skills: Project development, Market access, Supply chain management, Finance support, Controlling, Internal controls, Ethics and Corporate compliance, Team development and Pharmaceutical Industry. Ability to partner with other functional areas to develop, improve and monitor compliance with policies and procedures including taking a leadership role on certain initiatives Ability to identify and resolve complex issues and to prioritize rigorously Ability to continue to improve processes and systems Excellent strategic and implementation skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business administration, or equivalent business experience Extensive experience in a major company or division of a large corporation, or the equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in pharmaceutical industry in a multinational organization Strong experience in Business Partnering, mainly in Commercial Operations and Finance, different departments such as Internal Controls and Compliance, Strategic planning (Accounting, Budget, Investment analysis, Forecasts, report to local and foreign board of Directors), Market analysis, Treasury (Cash Management, Foreign trade operations, Credit Management, Risk management).
